The donor experience with your nonprofit organization is paramount to ensuring sustainable support of your mission. Building donor trust and loyalty will result in sustainable fund development; without this trust, donors stop giving. Understanding and executing strategies to keep donors engaged will result in more money raised, but it takes time AND patience to build this donor loyalty. We need to remember that it’s about the donor, not the organization, and what the donor hopes to achieve with their giving, not our goals.
